President Gordon B. Hinckley's Challenge and Promise

President Gordon B. Hinckley said in a

worldwide leadership training meeting:

“I am convinced there is no other organization anywhere to match the Relief Society of this Church.

If they will be UNITED and speak with ONE VOICE,

Their STRENGTH will be INCALCULABLE!”

RELIEF SOCIETY

“A Restoration of an Ancient Pattern”

Although the name may be modern date,

the institution is of ANCIENT ORIGIN.

We were told by our martyred prophet

that the same organization EXISTED

in the church ANCIENTLY.”

  3. Sorry brothers, I was researching some issues about the church and found this site with photos of the celebration of the Relief Society of Kalispell and looking at the pictures I saw a brother who has the same last name of a guy I did the mission with him here in Brazil and was a long time I have not contacted him. I would ask any of the brother informed me that the man who appears in the photo, with the name of Worden Hardy has some kinship with Joseph Valen Hardy did mission in Brazil in the year 1990 - 1992 (Brazil Fortaleza Mission). He was Kallispel, today I can imagine that he lives in Hawaii with his wife and children. But if anyone knows of something that can tell me about him or his family thank you very much. My email is: walcir_melo01@yahoo.com.br. I look forward expecting any response. Walcir Melo
