“Godly sorrow … is a deep realization that our actions have offended our
Father and our God. It is the sharp and keen awareness that our behavior
caused the Savior, He who knew no sin, even the greatest of all, to endure
agony and suffering. Our sins caused him to bleed at every pore. This very
real mental and spiritual anguish is what the scriptures refer to as having
‘a broken heart and a contrite spirit.’ ”

RELIEF SOCIETY
“A Restoration of an Ancient Pattern”
Although the name may be modern date,

We were told by our martyred prophet
that the same organization EXISTED

Thank you for all your posts Debbie, Godly sorry, is such an amazing way to bring us back to our Savior's side, which unlike the other sorrow keeps us far from him. If my sorry isn't moving me closer to my Heavenly Father, chances are it's not of him and it's moving me away.
